A member of Actors Equity, Kashi Johnson is an active director and actor who worked professionally in Pittsburgh before returning to Lehigh as a member of the faculty. Her recent stage work includes roles in such productions as And My Name Ain’t Peaches, Untold Truths, and Voice of Souls. In 2001, she staged One Woman, Many Voices in South Africa. Her directing work includes productions of The Colored Museum, Joe Turner’s Come and Gone, Talk Radio, and Flyin’ West.

In addition to her Equity membership, Johnson is also a member of the Black Theatre Network (BTN) and American Theater in Higher Education (ATHE).
