1:00 p.m.  Greek Life: The discussion will include Lehigh’s commitment to the Greek system, a frank discussion of the current Greek Life environment, the accreditation process, the legal situation in Pa., the personal/safety risks to Lehigh’s students, the legal risks to Lehigh, hazing, alcohol abuse, the re-colonization process, the housing situation for Greek Chapters. Peter Hagerman, 1961 Reunion Gift Co-Chair will moderate this program, which will include Bob Wolfenden, Lehigh’s AVP-Alumni Relations, Tim Wilkinson, Lehigh’s Director of Fraternity & Sorority Affairs, Rich Bradley’61, Sigma Chi and Bob Kirchberger’69, Pres. of Beta’s Alumni Association.

1:30 p.m. Lehigh Then & Now: 1961 & 2011; Brian Cohen, 2011 President leading panel discussion by class of ’11 members moderated by Dr. Ed Watters, 1961 Vice President

2:15 p.m. 1961 Endowment Fund for the Teaching of Ethical Decision-Making; a new Fund established and initially funded by ’61. Peter Hagerman, 1961 Reunion Gift Co-Chair & Michael Hoben, 1961 Secretary will review the status of the Fund.  Bus. 5 Professor Joseph Manzo will discuss his thinking about the importance of ethical education, the reasons why Lehigh’s CBE requires this course in the freshman year, and perhaps some of the course content.

2:45 p.m. The Class of 1961 Professorship Panel; a discussion by four class of ’61 professors on the impact of the class of ’61 professorship on their research, followed by question and answer session.  Moderated by Dr. George White, Class of ’61 Professor.
